I'm like you. I'm an African American caramel color with red undertone and I wanted bright colorful tattoos. It's possible.

Make sure you find the right artist and talk to them. Get their input on what they think. Do research. Lots. When you find the right one, make your appointment and get ready! Lol.

I planned my tattoos out for almost two years and fished for artists all over Atlanta who I thought would be best and in the end all my tattoos have come out great. Not dull at all.
Reply:It should be possible. GO into the tattoo shop and ask the artist what they think
Reply:DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

The tattoo you want has too much color for dark skin, especially caramel and up. Tattoos containing white, yellow, blue, red, etc. looks best on fair skin (white skin). People of a darker hue - light mocha, mocha, caramel, cinnamon, chocolate deluxe, etc., should use dark ink and shading for their tattoos, otherwise you would be stuck with a crappy tat for the rest of your life.
