Is my beary shedding already?

I just go a bearded dragon and skin starts to loosen around his mouth. is he starting to shed and if yes is there anything i can help him with?

Is my beary shedding already?
Yes, make sure he has a water bowl large enough to crawl into. The water will help with the shedding.
Reply:He is fine just let him go, it will come off.
Reply:he is fine do not try to pull of the skin and remeber to spray him evrey day now fill his water bowl hi to hewill lie in it also when he sheds feen the died skin to him.
Reply:Yes he's shedding! If you mist him with warm water it will help moisten the skin and help it come off easier. With mine they always look so uncomfortable trying to get the skin off, so I want to help them, but you can't pull the skin off for them because sometimes this pulls off good scales too. You can put him in a warm sink of water (water up to his shoulders) and gently scrub him with a soft bristled tooth brush. Mine get this once a week any ways, because it helps keep them from getting de-hydrated (they soak the water up through their vents), and mine refuse to drink water from a bowl! Scrubbing him with the tooth brush is no different than him scraping himself up against stuff to get the skin off (so it wont hurt him as long as your gentle), but this way you've got the warm water in there to help it all come off easier. Hope this helps... when they are young they shed almost constantly!
Reply:He should be able to handle the shedding process on his own but if U want, U can 'groom' him but putting him in your lap and picking bits of loose skin of his body that he may have a hard time reaching on his own. Kinda like when friends of yours get sunburn and you help em pick at it. Be careful though. If any patches dont want to come off easily, they're not ready to yet. If you pull it off before it's ready, you'll damage the new skin underneath, opening up your beardie to infection. I wouldnt do anything until he's done shedding on his own and then if there's any OLD skin stuck to him after that, then you can help if you want.
