Interceptor or Dragon Skin?

What would you choose to wear if you found out your were getting deployed to Iraq tomorrow?

Interceptor or Dragon Skin?
Dragon skin does not hold up under extreme heat and daily wear and tear. The glue between the discs was found to break down causing a significant drop in protection.

The interceptor might be heavy and cumbersome but it is the only durable decent protection out there.

I'd chose Dragon Skin if I only planned on being in Iraq for a day or two... Interceptor if I was doing a real tour (which I did in 2005).
Reply:dragon skin
Reply:Dragon Skin..but I probally wouldn't get the opportunity to because I think they outlawed it's use.
Reply:neither, the rounds just bounce of my chest..J/K,...go with Dragon skin
Reply:Anyone who watches Future Weapons would choose Dragon Skin.
Reply:interceptor.

I have seen the footage of what happens to dragonskin when it gets hit by a couple of rounds from a dragunov sniper rifle.

We would of picked it up if it provided enough protection.
Reply:Interceptor- battle proven at this point....

The dragon skin cant even pass the test yet in a controlled environment, why would I wear it over there in a combat environment?
Reply:Interceptor for sure.

The company that makes dragon skin, is the most unethicial company ive ever seen.

They are being sued by the Air Force and several law enforcement departments,

Because they sold body armor that was labeled NIJ Level lll compliant.

When they had never even had the body armor tested.

So if they are gonna lie to the AF and Police departments about thier other body armor.

Why would you believe them about dragon skin body armor?
Reply:soon everyone will wear dragons skin, kevlar technology used in the interceptor is going to the wayside. Armor peircing high velocity rounds can pass through the intercept no problem as well the dragons skin has proven to be able to stop ak rounds and m16 rounds
Reply:interceptor mos def. why do you think the military uses it and they dont use dragon skin. i did 2 tours in iraq and the interceptor vest can handle alot of things. dragon skin gets torn aparp real fast.
