Is it ok for my chinese water dragon to have red under his neck? is it normal?

my dragon has a reddish tent to his skin under his neck. is that normal? im not sure how long it's been there. if its not normal what can i do about it? plz help me out.

Do you mean "tint"? Some do have a small amount of red under their chins. Mine had a a rainbow of colors from the pink, to red, to blues, greens and purples. When they get excited the colors become brighter...:-)

Reply:yes that is part of its beauty mine had a bright purple tint under his neck. red and blue are also normal.


they make wonderful pets but be careful they can get infections easily.
