Is it ok for my chinese water dragon to have red under his neck? is it normal?

my dragon has a reddish tent to his skin under his neck. is that normal? im not sure how long it's been there. if its not normal what can i do about it? plz help me out.

Reply:Male water dragons start developing more color as they mature. Most likely you have a male that is starting to color up.
Reply:Yes that is completely normal! Like the other said if it is a male it will get very colorful! The mark varies from pinkinsh to more red depending on the lizard.
Reply:if its whole scales, its fime, however if you look closely and its tiny red spots, its mites.
