Why does my bearded dragon eat its skin?

My bearded dragon eats the skin he sheds straight after he's shed it. He's about 9 months old and in good health.

Is this normal? It it good/bad? Should I be worried and should I do anything about it?

There are minerals and nutrients in the skin. Don't worry about it.
